The well-planned and methodical delinking of Muslims from their “ideology,” “culture,” “values,” “language,” “history,” and “personalities” has already left them befuddled and frustrated about their “past” and completely despondent about their “future.” With no choice left – connecting to a new link that is currently open to them – this delinked adolescent is entirely without chance for progress. This new link is introduced with great fanfare and is inundated with dazzling appeal throughout all forms of media, all while disparaging and insulting authentic Islamic beliefs, making them appear irrelevant in today’s world.
Modern day missiles for modern cultures – particularly a large portion of the urban population and rural population eager to adapt urban lifestyles – are now ‘soft’ rather than ‘hard’. Every parent must actively envision, plan, and implement a strategy to keep their personal relationship alive while also establishing a strong link for their children with the Quran, Sunnah, and the learned scholars of Islam who have passed on this riches of Quran and Sunnah to us generation after generation. In our context (the subcontinent), four languages are crucial: Arabic, Persian, Urdu, and English.
